About the Event
The scientific program will bring together a range of excellent Brazilian and foreign guest speakers, which is already a tradition in SBI meetings, valuing expertise as well as offering opportunities to young scientists. This year the Scientific Program will encompass different aspects of the immune response including evolution of the immune system, immunometabolism, immunity to microbial infection and parasites, tumor immunology, allergy, mucosal immunology, microbiome, systems biology, cell death, innate sensors, IFN signaling, clinical immunology and innovation on immunology.
The format of the meeting includes Keynote Conferences, Main Conferences, Symposiums, Oral Presentations with communications by students, post-docs and young investigators selected from submitted abstracts, besides Poster Sessions. In addition, just before the SBI meeting, there will be pre-congress courses which will complement the scientific program. The themes are systems vaccinology, immaging, genetic engeneering of mouse models and clinical immunology.
